Apple are very good at making some fantastic looking devices, but they do have a tendency to get scratched. It is for this reason that you will be pleased to know that you can get an official iPad case. This is a very useful iPad accessory to get hold of, as it is more than just a case.
iPad Case Features
The iPad case allows you to access the power button, volume control and cable inputs without removing the case. At the moment we can’t confirm whether you will be able to dock your iPad without removing your iPad from the case.
The case allows you to use your iPad in various different positions. In fact, the angles and positions that it enables you to put your iPad in are rather in-genius.
- Book Position
You can keep your iPad in the case and read it like a book (portrait mode). This great tactile feel of holding makes reading on the iPad a joy. This is also great for surfing the web or viewing photos.
- Typing Position
This enables you to have your iPad at a 30-45 degree angle, making it very easy to type on at a desk and view the screen. If you are going to do a lot of typing though it is worth getting the iPad keyboard dock.
- Movie Position
This puts your iPad upright in landscape mode. This is idea for view in movie in the widest possible screen configuration. This is also a great position for using it as a digital picture frame.
- Closed Position
This is when the case is closed. This offers full protection for your iPad and is great for carrying it around and keeping it safe, whether tucked under your arm or away in a bag.
The official Apple iPad case is sleek black leather and looks very smart indeed. Expect there to be a rush of other iPad cases coming on to the market soon. Whatever case you go for, be sure to get a case of some sort to keep your iPad protected.
